Lorne House is a residential home registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide care for 13 adults with Learning Disabilities.
The service is long stay care, dependent on continual funding and appropriate placement to meet the individual’s needs. A place in Lorne House may be funded from social care, health funds or privately.
Lorne House very much has an open-door policy for our Resident’s relatives and friends to visit.

Lorne House became part of Families First North East as of Midnight on 31 December 2019. As such, the most recent CQC inspection report relates to its previous ownership as a separate registered charity.
